In this sales focused position for Dave Shivers State Farm, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful client relations and acting as a liaison for customer needs. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services that cover and protect things people have worked hard to attain. You help bring a peace of mind that on a bad day, things will at the least, be a little easier to navigate.
We work as a team to take care of the customers. For the customers’ ease, they may speak with one person most of the time (which would be the role you would fill on the team). However, the support extends beyond that one person. Our customers have a team behind them who specialize in topics like claims, billing, technology, & problem solving. Our team is set up to have duties that magnify their strengths. We work to have a happy team who create happy customers!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build relationships with our current customers and potential new customers
- Act as an advisor and a resource by providing information about insurance products and services that are personalized for the needs of each customer
- Assist customers with applications and changes to their policies - communicate the customers decisions to the company
- Communicate and follow internal processes to help teammates who follow up on requests and handle other parts of the customers experience with Dave Shivers State Farm
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Experience in needs-based sales preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain a Property & Casualty license and Life & Health License
- Hourly rate plus commission (no minimums or maximums- you are in charge of how much you make)
